iFaith 1.4.1 Released – Fixes Numerous Bugs And Brings Apple Tv 4.4.4 Support

The famous iOS hacker and sn0wbreeze creator, iH8sn0w has released iFaith version 1.4.1. The update has been released to remove the kill-switch which was disturbed accidentally in iFaith 1.4. Apart from that, the new update comes with added support for Apple TV 4.4.4 firmware and also fixes numerous bugs. Details below!
If you are not sure about iFaith, it is a software like TinyUmbrella which allows you to dump SHSH blocbs directly on iOS Devices. But it has a difference which is that it allows the saving of SHSH blobs for a specific firmware even if Apple doesn’t sign that firmware. This allows for the downgrading on iOS 5.0 firmware generation.

Here is the official changelog below which shows the added features and changes:
- Added Apple TV 4.4.4 (9A406a) support.
- TinyUmbrella iOS 4.4.x/5.x.x blobs are now accepted.
- Resolved rare DFU detection issues.
- Resolved issues with 8GB iPhone 4 Models.
- Resolved iPhone 3GS issues with factory certificates/Error 21 that occurred during restore.
- Resolved iOS Detection issues.
- Removed kill-switch that accidentally got distributed in iFaith-v1.4′s public release.
If you have an iPad 2 or an iPhone 4S, you should remember that until an actual DFU bottom exploit is released publicly, you would not be able to take advantage of iFaith. The latest version of iFaith can be downloaded from here.
