iOS 5 Untethered Jailbreak Achieved (VIDEO)

Pod2g, the well known hacker who is a member in the famous Chronic Dev Team has posted a video demoing the iOS 5 Untethered Jailbreak in action. Also he shows the exploit used in the jailbreak on his iPod touch.

Previously, we have reported Pod2g finding an exploit which could be used in the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak. Not long after the security researcher Charlie Miller has discovered a hole in iOS 5 which can allow any app to be remotely download and execute malicious, system-level code on an iPhone.
After Apple had Miller’s developer license revoked they released iOS 5.0.1 fixing the security flaw found by Miller. But Pod2g has advised all the jailbreakers not to upgrade to iOS 5.0.1 because the flaw in iOS 5 makes the untethered jailbreak very much easier.

And here we are roughly a month after those exploits were found reporting to you now that the Chronic Dev Team has successfully managed to Untether Jailbreak iOS 5. As Pod2g announced in a tweet.

The video of the Demo was removed and no one knows really why but a user has managed to get the video and upload it.
