iPhone 5 is NOT Ready For Production As Rumored Before

Recently we have reported that 9to5Mac has learned from a reliable source at Foxconn that the iPhone 5 is ready for production which made us assume that the iPhone 5 will be introduced next summer at WWDC. However, John Gruber of Daring Fireball has made a post saying that the iPhone 5 isn’t ready for production.

iPhone 5

The report that came from 9to5Mac based on the information from their source at Foxconn claimed that there is several sample devices of the next generation iPhone floating around. Also he mentioned the devices having a 4+ inch display and No teardrop-shaped devices, as rumored in the lead up to the iPhone 4S. Samples so far have been symmetrical in thickness (also longer/wider).
And Here is what Gruber Said:
We received word from a reliable source at Foxconn in China that the iPhone 5, as it is currently being called, is now gearing for production.
No it’s not.
No teardrop-shaped devices, as rumored in the lead up to the iPhone 4S. Samples so far have been symmetrical in thickness (also longer/wider).
Longer and wider? Sounds like bullshit. I can see Apple putting a bigger display on a device of the same size. I can’t see them making a bigger device.
John Gruber is one of the most reliable source when it comes to Apple inside news and information.
