Dear Wiki-Jailbreak friends, their is a tweak mania i can see that and
of-course all of you as well see that and it’s really a good thing for
all of us, well that new tweak we are going to tell you about is really
interesting, especially for those who wants to keep their iPhone with an
extra-ordinary safety, this new tweak RecognizeMe 2.0
will give you what you are asking for as it’s a facial recognizing
software that lets you add an extra layer of protection to your iPhone,
so now i guess your phone won’t need more than that for being safe,
their is a 4 digit password and RecognizeMe 2.0
RecognizeMe 2.0 is developed by Chris Simpson who is known as “Apocolipse” in the developer community. And although this is the second version of the original RecognizeMe jailbreak tweak which has been released back last year, but it still met with the same welcoming that it was met with when it was released last year. It’s a popular tweak
the working of RecognizeMe 2.0 is pretty straight forward, as it utilizes the front camera of a jailbroken iOS device to scan your face, and then match it with your face pattern stored in its database on the iDevice. So it basically works as an added security feature in lieu with the password lock.
RecognizeMe 2.0 is a lot better than its predecessor which was buggy and had a low success rate for facial identification. This time around however, the developer has made quite a few changes that have improved it’s functionality a lot. It now features an extra training system that you can use to teach your facial features to RecognizeMe 2.0, for better and faster results. It does that by taking various snapshots of your melon as shown in the picture below.
RecognizeMe see’s your face Faster and better, check the below video to know more about it.
RecognizeMe 2.0 now available in Cydia on the BigBoss repo with a price of $2.99, and in order to use this must have an iDevice with a front facing camera, which must be jailbroken to the latest version of iOS 5.
