Since 2012 is one day away, Nielsen revealed the top online
destinations, social media sites and Smart Phones devices. Let’s check
where Apple, Google and Facebook took their places within the Nielsen’s
list.
There’s nothing particularly unpredictable or surprising over on the digital side of things. Google topped the list of Top US Web Brands by 153,441 visitors per month, followed by Facebook by 137,644 visitors per month. Perhaps the thing which is a little bit surprisingly, that Yahoo managed to hold its own in 2011, rounding out the Top Three. Over on the Smartphone side, Apple came out on top with a 29 percent marketshare in data pulled from August to October 2011, followed by HTC. while RIM BlackBerry came after them with 21 percent market share followed by Samsung and Motorola at last. It’s so clear that Apple is eating the market. While On the social side, Facebook scored number one which is thing that all of us was sure of us where number if Facebook users are unbelievable, and it was followed by Blogger and Twitter, while “YouTube” was ranked number one in video by 111,152 viewers per month.
