Apple Releases A New iOS 5.0.1 Build For iPhone 4S Along Side Apple TV Software Version 4.4.4

Apple has just released a new software update for the Apple TV 2G bringing the -top box to version 4.4.4. up until now there is no information about what improvements or fixes the new update brings. Also Apple has released a new build [9A406] of iOS 5.0.1 for the iPhone 4S.

The new update comes just a month after version 4.4.3 was released bringing support for Netflix streaming in Mexico and an audio output issue when the connected television set is turned off.

There is no information up until now about what the new update brings of fixes and improvements.

New iOS 5.0.1 Build “ 9A406” for the iPhone 4S

Also a new build of iOS 5.0.1 “9A406” was released for the iPhone 4S, The new update is just one increment over the original iOS 5.0.1 build “9A405”. The new version is not offered to users who has connected their iPhone 4S on iOS 5.0.1 Build “9A405” to iTunes so the new update is expected to be a minor one.
According to MacRumors, The new build could be in preparation for the new international launch round occurring tomorrow.

One possibility is that the tweaked update contains minor changes needed for the next round of international launches occurring tomorrow. iPhones sold in those countries may come with only iOS 5.0 installed, and users immediately updating to iOS 5.0.1 in those countries would receive the tweaked version updated for their markets.
