Leaked Photos Of iPad 3 Front Glass Showing Home Button and Black and White Options

Last week, The Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo has posted a photo which is claimed to be the front glass and digitizer assembly for the iPad 3. Although it looked very similar to the iPad 2s’. There was a difference in the ribbon cable attached to the component suggesting different parts. So, Repair Laps has managed to get their hands on the same part in both black and white which suggest that Apple will be offering at least some versions of the device in both colors.

iPad 3 Coming In Both Black and White

Previously, There was some rumors claiming that Apple will be offering some versions of the iPad 3 in Black only based on leaked part numbers. Later on, additional part numbers has surfaced showing that all the versions of the iPad 3 will be available in black and white.

iPad 3 Will Have A Home Button

There was wide speculations that the iPad 3 won’t have a home button after the invitation of the iPad 3 media event showed the iPad 3 lacking the home button. Now, This leaked photos of the iPad 3 front glass and digitizer shows a home button on both parts.
Apple will be introducing the iPad 3 next Wednesday March, 7th at 10:00 AM Pacific Time at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. An upgraded Apple TV is also expected.
